Age recommendation: 10+
My rating: 4/5
Favourite character: Anna
Comments: This is a semi-autobiographical book by Judith Kerr. A documentation of her life as a Jewish refugee from the Nazi party.
Synopsis: Anna and her family travel to various countries all over Europe. Building memories and friendships that have to be left behind every time they have to flee. However, Anna remembers Pink Rabbit back in Germany, and stays strong.
Review: I think you need to be aged ten or above to properly understand the concepts of the book. Some things that did actually happen could be inappropriate or frightening to younger age groups. Nonetheless, I found it incredibly interesting to delve into how people felt in those times, how they earned money and lived their lives.
