Comments: This is no book, it is a fantastically spun novel. A gripping historical fiction about life in the grandeur of Hampton Court Palace. Join Miss Eliza Camperdowne as she experiences the highs and lows of life at Tudor Court.
Synopsis: As a young heiress, Eliza must marry a man of very high status. When a reasonably suitable offer comes up, it looks like things might take a change for the better at Stoneton. Eliza is sure that she is ready to become a Viscountess, but is her betrothed as good as he seems?
Review: I have always liked historical fiction. Personally, I prefer Victorian, so this book formed a whole new adventure for me. What an adventure it was! From renowned historian Lucy Worsley, an insight into the flourishes and feasts of court life!
