Comments: This is the sequel autobiography to Boy a touching finish to the retelling of his astonishing  life. Travelling the world with a young Shell employee, to the Second World War in the Middle East's perspective. Roald Dahl has the extraordinary ability to tell his tale like a novel adventure. Lets watch Roald fly as an RAF officer into the Battle of Athens, a moment hushed up for many years. To fight for king and country... but most importantly... survival.

Main characters: Roald Dahl.

Synopsis: Young Roald sets off on a breathtaking journey to the Middle East, to leave his family for three years. The many exploits of his are documented beautifully within this book. As World War Two breaks out over the barren deserts of Egypt, Roald, brave and bold, flies to the service of the RAF. Where he will make friends, fight for his life and grow. Natzi Germany are swarming like bees over Greece. Its Roald's job to stop them in their tracks...

Review: A book review has never been harder than this. Quite simply. I am spellbound by Roald Dahl's roller coaster of real-life. It truly is an incredible thing to experience. An absolute pleasure and wonder to read.
